Depending on your location and the type of building work you may need to make an application for Planning Permission and/or Building Regulations. These are two completely separate issues and where required must be applied for separately.

Planning Permission allows you the right to undertake building work.

Neil Braithwaite studied at Liverpool University and qualified as an architect in 1999.

He has worked in residential, retail and healthcare sectors. And has experience in rural Conservation and Listed Buildings.
